Dan May, who was a passenger on the flight, confirmed that an 'unruly Tinkerbell', and a companion dressed as Bob the Builder, had been removed by police from the flight from Stansted (UK) airport to Krakow in Poland on Friday.
Mr May also wrote on Twitter: "Our flight to Krakow hasn't taken off yet because a man dressed as Tinkerbell has threatened to cut everyone up.
A Ryanair spokesman said: "We will not tolerate unruly or disruptive behavior at any time and the safety and comfort of our customers, crew and aircraft is our number one priority. This is exactly why we are calling for significant changes to prohibit the sale of alcohol at airports, such as a two-drink limit per passenger and no alcohol sales before 10am.
It's incumbent on the airports to introduce these preventative measures to curb excessive drinking and the problems it creates, rather than allowing passengers to drink to excess before their flights."

(22,056 posts)My fiancee does some character work for Peanuts, Sesame Street and other cartoon characters. Every year, she is in the Macy's parade and makes appearances at various professional sporting events. For the next couple of weeks, she's appearing as Bob the Builder at a state fair in the midwest, (I'm not allowed to identify where).
When I first read this headline, I had a moment where I was afraid she had been kicked of the plane!
By the way, she's much cuter than Tinkerbell above!
