What type of lines do you see? Curved? Straight? Both curved and straight?

1. Both.

2. Depends on which part of my lenses I look through.

Looking towards the edge, where there is greater distortion, I clearly see curved and zigzag lines alternating. Looking at the zigzag lines through the center of the lens, where vision should be clearest, they look curved.

Apparently, a little low-fidelity in vision is a good thing.

3. If I'm looking right at the curve, I see a curve...

...but in my peripheral vision, the ones to the right and left look like sharp angles. Then when I switch to the one on the right or the one on the left, it takes a second to resolve to a curve.

4. All I see are curves

there are no absolute straight lines where the black/white sections meet.
