The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsHappy the kitten finally decided to take a nap...
...which means I can pull the yarn out and start working on Christmas presents.
(Of course, it may be my own fault. As I was dry-mopping, he was chasing the dry-mop. As I was wet-mopping, he chased the wet mop. And then I took the empty 12-pack box of seltzer out of the fridge and he spent plenty of time climbing in it, chewing on it and batting it around the kitchen.)
I'll crochet until he wakes up, and then I'll fold the laundry. He finds joy in that too.
Gotta love a kitten!

(15,242 posts)Mom was feral and had no idea how to behave in the house. Her last litter was caught by neighbors I figured destroyed. We caught her had her spayed she moved in with our other outside ferals. All five kittens were adopted included the two we kept, throughly house cats.

(3,547 posts)when my Oliver was a kitten, it was hell. Thought I would never survive. At times it was gonna be him or me, many battles ensued. In the end though it was most worth it, for I have most loyal friend I could ever have.
