Cleese and Palin comported themselves well. The bishop mainly whined that the Pythons should have paid more attention in religion class, but the old fart relied on cheap shots and insults. It's obvious who uses their brains and who falls back on internalizing mythology (and cramming it down everyone else's throats).

Perhaps they comported themselves a bit too well. It would have taken one or two statements from the guys to have put him in his place. Far superior wit with those two....
