For fans of Phil Hendrie - favorite character?

I love so many Phil Hendrie characters....Bobbie & Steve Dooley, Ted of "Ted's Steak House", the Korean War vet, the Citizens Auxiliary Police guy, Rolland Schwin, the food critic who always talks with his mouth full of food, but my favorite has to be Phil's impression of Art Bell, who usually shows up with General Johnson Jameson (Richard C. Hoagland)

were always good. Who was the guy who always emphasized how “sessy” he was? Drawing a blank on that character’s name.

I liked Bud Dickman and Mavis Leonard too.
Dickman supposedly worked with Hendrie at the radio station, answering calls etc.
[I also liked the other high-voiced "kid," R.C. Collins]

Doug Dannger, the guy who always said: "As a gay man and a gay journalist...".
If you Google Phil Hendrie, there's a short video of Phil doing Doug Dannger,

Jay Santos was the hilarious character from the "Citizen's Auxiliary Police"

Raj Faneesh, the Palestinian cab driver was the 1st character Phil ever did.

Futurama, King of the Hill, Rick and Morty....And I liked him in Teachers too. Generally, when I find out Phil Hendrie is in a show, I like that show. I don't know if that's cause or effect. But that guy is chock full of laughs.

and you can watch him do some of his radio show characters......He has 40 different characters that he does.....They're all absolutely hilarious.
And the really funny part is that all his "callers" are real people who call in thinking that his characters are real "guests" that he's interviewing.

He's a frickin' genius!

Does he still have a show? I haven't heard him in years. I remember one of the first times I heard him. The "guest" was an "animal rights activist" who was saying how she and her organization were letting animals out of people's houses and back yards because NO animal should EVER be in captivity! I think my favorite characters are Bobbie and Steve Dooley. They're the ones I've heard the most....

A Middle Eastern guy called "Hammib". I'd say 95% of the callers
misunderstood it as "Habib". The entire show was spent correcting the callers.

/Guess you had to be there.

Perhaps "Hammib" morphed into the first actual "character" that Phil created ..the Arab cab driver called Raj Faneesh.
