Attractive little thing, too. She hardly moved for several hours, even though I was creating quite a ruckus, ripping up & replacing decking.






This little guy must have felt quite put upon. He'd run and hide a foot or two away, then I'd come right behind and uncover him.

4. My brother posted a photo on Facebook of a spider with the same markings this morning.

He titled it "Our new receptionist."

He put his hand behind it showing that the body was nearly two inches long.

7. Pretty spiders!

I’m terrified of them but I don’t kill them. The do all kids of good in my garden. I catch and release the ones in my house...just in case there’s karma involved with that kind of thing. Who knows, I could come back as a spider if I don’t treat them with respect. ☯️🔞

9. Golden garden spiders are cool - they build really nifty webs.

We have them all over the place down here. Their webs sparkle like gems in the sunlight.

They DO seem like putting webs in door ways, tho, I have to move them to other spots often.

14. One of those spiders built a really big web on my porch.
