Not to brag, but I had a little female companionship while working outside today

Attractive little thing, too. She hardly moved for several hours, even though I was creating quite a ruckus, ripping up & replacing decking.

This little guy must have felt quite put upon. He'd run and hide a foot or two away, then I'd come right behind and uncover him.

Nice to have campanions while doing projects. Had a similar situation with a snake recently.

He titled it "Our new receptionist."

He put his hand behind it showing that the body was nearly two inches long.

I’m terrified of them but I don’t kill them. The do all kids of good in my garden. I catch and release the ones in my house...just in case there’s karma involved with that kind of thing. Who knows, I could come back as a spider if I don’t treat them with respect. ☯️🔞

We have them all over the place down here. Their webs sparkle like gems in the sunlight.

They DO seem like putting webs in door ways, tho, I have to move them to other spots often.

It was so big that I had to wonder whether one of the cats was its intended prey. Or me.
