Hagen Das how could you?!? Chocolaty Chips?!?

Hagen Das has put "Chocolatey Chips" in their Mint Chip Ice Cream.
For those that don't know "Chocolaty" means not real chocolate. Usually a substitute oil or fat to Coco Butter and other changes. It is crap.
It's one thing when one of the cheaper brands that are half chemicals do it.
But for a premium brand that claims this:

For more than 50 years, our passion for crafting the perfect flavors and creamiest textures using only the finest ingredients is what has set the Häagen-Dazs® brand apart. We’ve never wavered on the principles that made us who we are from the very beginning. Today, the Häagen-Dazs® brand continues to transform the finest ingredients into extraordinary experiences bite by bite.

should be ashamed of themselves.

Ben, Jerry please keep things real.

In April 2000, Ben & Jerry's sold the company to Anglo-Dutch multinational food giant Unilever. Unilever said it hoped to carry on the tradition of engaging "in these critical, global economic and social missions". Although the founders' names are still attached to the product, they do not hold any board or management position and are not involved in day-to-day management of the company.

I called an complained and they claimed it was in order to offer the same high quality ingredients without increasing the price.

I pointed out that they had increased the price - per gram/oz and that they were selling less ice-cream for the same price of the bigger pint size....the person I was talking to kept arguing...

Meanwhile they have indeed since then reduced the quality of the ingredients AND increased the prices....

Honestly - its not that good of an ice cream - there is much much better....

Not only did the half-gallon size of ice cream become 1.5 quarts, as the container narrowed towards the bottom, but it seems to me that Breyer's may have injected air into their product. I don't mean air-pockets in the container, but into the ice cream itself. Imagine the foamy head on a Guiness as a metaphor versus the beer in the glass.

Without any chips.

If I want chocolate,I will buy chocolate.

If I want mint,chips don't add anything.

I tend to like ice cream smooth without stuff in it.
