Home Decor -Displaying prints of formal affairs.

Seems like a basic idea. Get them matted and framed and find a way to stick them on the wall in a way that the montage of pictures frames looks pleasing.

Problem is, I hate this idea. It just seems, stale. There are some ideas from Ikea, like mounting a board to the wall and placing the frames on the ledge. Except that anything horizontal is going to collect dust.

A better idea is to hang from extended wire, like a clothes line, except that these are formal pictures.

Any ideas?

and you can adjust how high to set your frames.

I've used a collection of easels, some floor standing, others for the tabletop, that really shows off groups of related pictures. Also hung picture frames on both sides of a folding screen to get a lot of viewing space. I like to prop up pictures against table legs and furniture, or lean them on walls, or place small pictures in a basket on a desk.
