When I tried to buy Paul McCartney tickets.

Paul McCartney is coming to a nearby city in the spring of 2019. A few Fridays ago, at 10 o’clock in the morning, tickets went on sale.

I logged on to Ticketmaster and received a message that 2000 and something people are ahead of me. At about 11:00, I think it was, I got into Ticketmaster

Only tickets still available were way expensive. I don’t remember what but they were way up in the hundreds.

I’m thinking it was a day later I got an email from Ticketmaster saying some tickets were still available. I looked into it and the cheapest ones were if I recall correctly $225. This isn’t NYC or LA or Chicago; it’s Greenville, SC.

By the way, before the tickets went on sale, the cheapest ones up in the nosebleed section were like $75. I would’ve been willing to pay more than $75. But no way I’m going to pay $225 for the damn nose bleed section.

Fuck Ticketmaster… i’ve heard that they are scalping their own tickets and I believe it. At least I did see Paul on his Out There tour a few years ago.

Best show I ever saw was Yes in '76 at the St. Paul Civic Center.

General admission, so I had to wait in line for hours, but...

Got main floor seats at about the 11th row, and...

Bought my ticket, two t-shirts, two posters, and a program booklet for a total of ... ... ... $25

(Total of twenty-five bucks; that's not a typo)
