I'm still going to keep my Xbox 360, too.
A few upcoming games only are for the PS4 and the Xbox One.

(1,923 posts)But you beat me to it.
Sadly, I do not get to game nearly as much anymore. Adulting sucks sometimes. But playing with my kids is far more entertaining.

(33,643 posts)state, so ... yeah.
The 'PC Master Race' ... is pretty much an all-time classic meme. As someone who's built every PC they've ever owned, and hasn't really gamed on a console since Tomb Raider (I, II, and III) and FFVII on PS1 ... I can't let the chance pass to use it

(1,923 posts)But a 5yo and 3yo keeps me busy. I do plan on dusting off the Xbox for Red Dead Redemption 2 though. I absolutely loved the 1st one. I need to build a new PC when I get the time, my current one is still running a FX8350/GTX-960. I looked into building a new one last spring and cringed when I saw the price of gpu's lol.

Things are back to normal now ... BUT ... your venerable GTX960 can still run most anything though, at least at 1080p ... not maxed (unless an older game), but pretty competently.
Yeah, RDR2 is something to look forward to, but since I only have PS3 w/no plans to buy a newer console ... I'll be waiting (hopefully not for 'infinity years' like with RDR) ... for the PC Port on that one.
TONS of great games coming out recently and for the rest of the year though ... Fallout 76 being of particular interest ... and a new Doom, and a new Just Cause. And looking forward to the new Tomb Raider going on sale
Game on, brother!
On Edit:
Really looking forward to next gen from AMD/ATI as I recently procured a sweet Ultra Wide (3000-something x 1440 iirc) with Freesync capability (which is only supported by AMD/ATI cards), but I just can't justify replacing my GTX1060 with anything AMD has out right now. Their cards ATM have horrendously bad FPS/Watt ratios vs nVidia cards, which is key to me, living in AZ as I do. They also get fairly crushed in the FPS/$ ratio as well, at least on the vast majority of games.
Next gen I'm really hoping they get the power consumption at least in the same BALLPARK ... as the nV offerings.
