I'm good for about 3 days.
I need to use the old gas station method and attach a hubcap to the bookmark.

(4,520 posts)I just use a piece of paper but I have to put it all the way in the book, if anything is hanging out the cat will steal it.

(6,641 posts)Don't need them to last forever, you get another one when you check out the next book. Put it deeper in the book and you can't lose it.
Or a very large rubber band.

(2,302 posts)I use a gizmo for sewing called a Wonder Clip. I don't like them for sewing but they make great bookmarks and clips for cords.

But I like smaller than the ones shown in the video. That's the advantage of making my own - I can make whatever color and size I like!

I find those junk postcards from real estate companies make good bookmarks. They are sturdy and big enough to not disappear in the book.
