(17,454 posts)I'm sorry I don't have a link, but there is this guy on there that posts about how to do all sorts of things.
He has a video that I saw awhile back that showed a good method for restoring head lights. If I remember correctly, it involved wet sanding with progressively finer grits of abrasive paper. His lights came out like new.

(34,137 posts)Now our low beams are so bright people flash their brights at us to lower our beams. We asked the garage to replace the high beams with LEDs but if they did, they didn't replace the lenses so the low beams are still brighter than the highs.
I'm thinking of using a yellow stain on our new low beam lenses to tone them down.
