It was in a songbook we used. We sang it as a round and I think we used gestures as we sang.

Another one we learned was Goodbye Old Paint. Another cowboy song.

Our teacher was smart enough to provide temple blocks (to simulate horse hoofbeats) and a harmonica for the appropriate Old West feel.
