Has a song from a movie (or TV show) ever sold you on watching the movie/show?

With the recent death of Dick Dale, I recall the first time I had borrowed the cassette tape of someone's Pulp Fiction soundtrack and popping it into my Walkman and instantly hearing "Misirlou" and being captivated by it. I remember thinking that I had no idea what Pulp Fiction was about, but if it had such an eclectic assortment of songs like these, I for sure wanted to check it out.

It just had a sort of raw, wild anything goes type of sound to it.
