Name some things that are routinely mocked but you actually find to be absolute genius.
Two examples for me:
President Clinton's "definition of the word 'is'" legal parsing during his testimony in the Lewinsky matter--It seems like he's playing games but it's actually an extremely valid point. "Is" can either refer to only the present, or it can refer to all possible points of time, past, present and future.
The "KHANNNNNN!!!!" scene from Star Trek II--You can argue that both Shatner and Montalban overacted their roles, but to me, you watch the scene it's just a perfect back-and-forth interaction between two characters who have the utmost contempt for one another. They didn't need to change a thing--it was delivered perfectly. Including Shatner's famous line.

And before any NB fans get upset with me, it was a joke. We all have different musical tastes, and you just have to accept that yours are wrong.
