8. I love discovering I've been singing the wrong lyrics

for years or even decades! Many of my incorrect lyrics formed when I was a kid, so they can be pretty funny. Just recently found out "if your head explodes without the bones, too" is actually "with dark forebodings, too" in Brain Damage by Pink Floyd. That makes much more sense, lol!

The truth about Heard It in a Love Song by the Marshall Tucker Band blew my mind. Always thought they were singing "perty little love song," (like "pretty" with a thick accent).

There's a compendium of misheard lyrics entitled (I think) "'Scuse Me While I Kiss This Guy."

A number of entries had my eyebrows flapping.
