2. Gorgeous! I read the Grand Rapids NWS Forecast Discussion this morning

and one of the headlines said there could be "accumulating snow possible" north of I-96 on Wednesday night/early Thursday. One of the long range forecast models call for us getting "several inches of snow" next Sunday, but it's too far out to tell. I hope not. I'm all out of the mood for snow. Although, with the sun being higher, I can't see it sticking for any length of time. I went out to my car the other day when it was sunny. As I started it, the outside temperature of my Jeep, sitting in the sun, showed 81F. Now that's more like it, lol. Of course, it rapidly fell into the upper 50's, but still...

Fortunately, most bulb plants are very hardy. And, as usual, every weather site seems to have slightly different forecasts, and all of the daytime temperature forecasts are FAR too high to sustain any snow.

From M-live Weatherman Mark commented this morning on his broadcast that the southern lower should get only rain. I’m west of Tawas City about 15 miles, I’m ready...didn’t put the snowblower away yet but I bet we don’t get anything but rain.

I started with a couple, a few years ago, and now they are everywhere. I love them. There are some blue ones, in another flower bed, that should start to open (hopefully) today. I'll post a pic of them, too.

Or Puschkinia scilloides var. libanotica 'Alba' Flower. There is an app called “PlantSnap” it identifies a large range of plants. I took your pic saved it to my pad opened the app loaded the pic...Alba Flower sounds a whole lot easier to say. The app is part of earth.com.

They are small & delicate. I bought a tiny glass vase for the small spring flowers - these, grape hyacinths, & little tulips, & they make such a pretty bouquet.

16. Deer and squirrels with not eat narcissus - daffodils and paper whites are both in that family

I have some old style paper whites that were growing here on the farm when I bought it in 1978. Over the years I have dug and divided and now I have thousands of them. Sometimes the squirrels will ignore other bulbs in the same bed as the narcissus so that adds to their value.

Other bulb plants that deer and squirrels will not eat that I grow here in North Florida - Louisiana Iris and African Iris.

It's gorgeous! I'll tell her about the Iris types. She's not at too high of altitude.

Louisiana Iris do well here in the South while those varieties do not. The other types might do better where it gets really cold in the winter.
