(20,727 posts)I have no idea what css is. I'm a total amateur, but I have a friend who's a grammy winner but is penniless, and has no other technical help. I do this only for him and only for love. He's a puerto rican viet nam veteran, and he's had an incredible career. But after leaving his website in moth balls for 20 years, earthlink is throwing out web hosting, so I had to get back into it.
I really really didn't want to learn a new editor or re-stage the entire thing, so, I'm THRILLED that I was able to get the old one into the new flowerpot, do some link cleanups, and change the ancient real audio files into plain mp3's. There were no mp3 files back then!!!
So, it's been 3 days of wracking my brain, but I got it all back, baby!!!! I even figured out how to do my own links to the mp3's with my own hand-hacked html. The new hosting company didn't give me any help at all on that, but I hacked the s^&$ out of it, by hand!!!!!!!
THE MIGHTY POWER OF HTML!!! I'm drunk on it!! Lol.
