I received a spam call today from "800 Service"

I of course didn't answer the phone. After the answering machine came on, the message was in Chinese or something like that. This isn't the first time I've gotten a message like that, no idea what is going on with that. Anybody else getting messages in Chinese?

The number that called is 855-901-7422 according to caller ID

2. I get them frequently

On my cell phone. Recently, we received 4 or 5 calls from ourselves! The caller ID was actually our home phone number! They are getting creative!

that are automated marketing calls. If you call the number back its always a number that's not in service. How the heck do they pull that trick off?

7. I know it is a spam call, but leaving a message in Chinese or whatever it was won't help

I have no idea who it was or what they were saying. And I'm not calling back to find out

6. On my Cell.

I get the same on my cell. On my landline, I use a device to block bad numbers and confront new numbers. Many out there with somewhat different features. Check Amazon for "Sentry Call Blocker".

Have you noticed that when you take the number and do a Google Search you no longer get message boards where folks list these numbers but are referred to paid services? That is another annoyance.

9. I have gotten several of those calls on my cell...

...and about a week ago, I got one on my home phone.
