Anybody know how I can give expensive prescription drugs to people who need them..?

I just went off a $450 per month medication. Permanently.
Any way I can give the remainder of my pills to somebody who is a little short of cash.
NOT an opiate.... it's a heart medication.

1. Offer it to your physician for his/her needy patients, perhaps...

They are allowed to give samples from pharm reps and since he/she knows you might feel comfortable doing so with yours.

2. When I delivered a baby early (all turned out fine)-

I gave my very expensive labor-stopping meds to my doctor, who indicated (probably couldn't say out loud) that she would pass them on to another pregnant lady in need of them.

Because she was my doctor and had prescribed them, she knew the meds were what they were supposed to be.
Doctors always used to give "samples" to patients-- I don't know if it's allowed. But that's why I'd suggest talking to your cardio doctor or primary doctor about this.
