I bought some nice new summer linen pants/shirt. Washed them in cold, medium heat dry but they still came out very wrinkled, even tho I hung them up right out of the dryer.
Is there a way I can de-wrinkle them without having to iron them first? I don't feel comfortable wearing them wrinkled...

(115,741 posts)I like the feel of linen but I don't buy linen clothes any more. Even if you iron out every wrinkle all you have to do is wear the clothes for ten minutes and they're wrinkled again. Put them on and then stand perfectly still; whatever you do, don't sit down.

Next time take them out of the dryer whilst still somewhat damp, button and zip everything up then lay them out flat on the bed. Smooth out any visible wrinkles with your hands and let them air dry.

(2,220 posts)or you can make your own, same ingredients.
1 Cup of Distilled Water. 1 Tablespoon of Fabric Softener.
Add both ingredients into a spray bottle, shake it up and spray.
Spray "wrinkle releaser" on clothing, smoothing out any wrinkles, then hang to dry.

(34,136 posts)With the other bottled water in the grocery store. I use it in my CPAP machine so have to get a bottle about once a month.
No particular brand name, whatever the store picks up. It's very cheap compared to other bottled water.
