She ran out of the carrier, and climbed up on top of the shelves in the laundry room - hiding behind some boxes. I couldn't lure her down, no matter what I 'offered'.

My sister called to see how things were going, so I sat on the floor, while I talked to her. All of a sudden, Sophie climbed up on my lap and curled up, purring. We've been besties, ever since.

in the house! It'll hide under something and be too afraid to potty or eat. Best place: a bathroom, furnished with the potty, food and water, toys. Easy to drag kitty from the back of the toilet for pets and brushing. Put anything you don't want kitty to chew on in a cabinet. Resident pets can smell newcomer thru the door and play pawsies below it.
