In my experience, people tend to use too many and not too few.

Even nationally-known political cartoonists.

5. When to use an apostrophy....
Wed May 8, 2019, 07:07 PM
May 2019

Use an apostrophe to indicate ownership by a proper noun. An apostrophe with an "s" after a proper noun indicates that the person, place or thing owns whatever noun follows his or her name. For example, "Mary's lemons." We know the lemons belong to Mary because of the 's. Other examples include "China's foreign policy" and "the orchestra's conductor." Ownership with certain proper noun...

or the Pos's ...whatever...just sometimes typing so fast even my spelling suffers...let me apologize in advance …..

Some of the more arcane results actually had apostrophes in the numerical results, such as 10'6. I had no idea what that meant and, to be honest, no idea what was being tested in these cases. Didn't bother to look it up.

I found it very annoying.
