(58,685 posts)that's why concert venues tend to use wood panelling, wood gives the sound echoes a more "natural" full bodied sound.
Surfaces like glass, tile, and chromium reflect the sound harshly. It's why some people used to (maybe they still do) put carpeting in bathrooms and kitches. It helps deaden the sound a bit. It's also hell on earth if there's a plumbing accident, but
