3. Loath Rhubarb pie of any variety. Love Rhubarb cobblers and jams.

I've never been served a rhubarb pie that didn't have a really gross and soggy bottom crust. I make a rhubarb and cherry cobbler that is quite lovely, and you can toss in what ever other fruit tickles your fancy. My mom made a rhubarb cake that was good. Wish I had the recipe.

Rhubarb/Ginger Jam is very tasty.

But Rhubarb Pie???

5. Love! I'm hardcore, straight Rhubarb Pie is my fave.

My grandma had a rhubarb patch and she always had plenty of it in the freezer or canned, and ready to use. it's very hard to find locally, stores just don't stock it when most of the produce sections are largely focused on Mexican items. Can't they just have 15 varieties of chili peppers and make a little room for one tray of fresh rhubarb stalks?

Straight rhubarb is the best. As a child I would pull a stalk out of the garden, wash it up and munch away.

14. I agree! I prefer straight rhubarb pie. I love anything with rhubarb in it.

I am not even a big pie fan, but I love rhubarb pie. I make a rhubarb sauce (kind of like applesauce) and either eat it plain or over ice cream or pound cake. It's delicious and the color is so beautiful!

My grandma made Rhubarb Butter, like Apple Butter. She cooked the stalks all day until they were reduced to that yummy, thick consistency. It was heaven to spoon a dollop on hot buttered biscuits.

One thing I want to make that I haven't tried yet is Rhubarb mousse. I think that would be heavenly. I think I will try to make it this summer to bring to a BBQ.

Used to get the frozen rhuibarb bags, but now I wait for the fresh stuff to come in, buy 2 or more lbs, cut them up and freeze them for the summer.

their own crust and it’s delicious. We are going this week. A friend makes a strawberry rhubarb cake that is outstanding.
