I have come to the conclusion (not generally being a member of the grammar police)

that this country and the internet is being plagued by a subject / verb disagreement pandemic.

If you - or a loved one - has posted one or more posts that

- or have been forced to read a post that -

contains one or more instances of subject / verb non-aquaintence such as

I hope --name of candidate -- here supporters has learned...

or

Clothes has been posted for sale ...*

refer to a copy of Strunk & White,

Online Grammar checker,

etc.

it is bound to get worse. There are far too many posts that are so poorly written it's almost impossible to intertret their point. Sometimes they are unintentionally funny, but the rest are useless.
