14. I love Bruce's politics, and he seems like a great guy, but his musical awesomeness evades me.

He seems to have a decent, gruff singing voice, and he surrounds himself with top notch musicians. But very little of his music resonates with me, and the keyboard tones he used on his 80's material ruined lots of the songs for me

(Streets of?) Philadelphia is my favorite Bruce song, perhaps because it is a stripped-down arrangement with no circus organ.

His 70's stuff was ok for the time, but I never really thought he had 1/2 talent that his band-mates did, so in the final analysis most of his stuff his fluff, hype and mediocrity.
