I have to break the news too the boog the chocolate lab

Thunderstorm lighting raining heavy our Golden retriever is under the blankets on couch. He is very flaky in thunder storms , and as I stand on the back patio yup boog is running around well he’s limping but he’s trying to pull off zoomies in back yard.

Mother Nature - thunders lighting in the distance

Boog - tears off to bark at thunder he has always barked when it thunders.

I looked at my wife and said do you think it’s the wright time to tell boog that he is adopted.

My wife said wait for another time to tell him he’s having so much fun.

Hasn't he noticed that he doesn't look like anyone else in the family? Maybe he'll be ready to hear it next year.

I tried to pull him out and get him into the fenced backyard. Very very low growl helped me decide to let him be. Ten years and only heard a growl twice. Most mellow creature I've known.

My old dog, now gone as well, would bark at the firecrackers.
He's run up and bite them, even as they went off. Attacked snakes too.
Good story TEB.

My wife and her friends were having get together on back patio , well knucklehead finds black snake and comes running thru the get together, with snake in mouth. Now I’m in Indy in hotel in bed and I had a very clear message how boog interrupted the party.
