Mother Nature - thunders lighting in the distance
Boog - tears off to bark at thunder he has always barked when it thunders.
I looked at my wife and said do you think its the wright time to tell boog that he is adopted.

(5,240 posts)Hasn't he noticed that he doesn't look like anyone else in the family? Maybe he'll be ready to hear it next year.
Were getting gray so we kind of look alike

(5,555 posts)I tried to pull him out and get him into the fenced backyard. Very very low growl helped me decide to let him be. Ten years and only heard a growl twice. Most mellow creature I've known.
But they dont understand

(25,816 posts)My old dog, now gone as well, would bark at the firecrackers.
He's run up and bite them, even as they went off. Attacked snakes too.
Good story TEB.
