Perhaps hiring more WELSH actors would have been nice, but it still is a great representation and the acting was wonderful. I loved Colm Meaney as 'Morgan the Goat', along with his implied back story. And the scenery was so beautiful. As is, of course, Wales.

3. I've been on this road!

It is VERY steep, we didn't know and just started up it and almost freaked out.

And the castle - Harlech - is gorgeous.

I Wales!

I'm not doubting them, but I'm just not that impressed. I lived in SF and it seemed to me that there were a lot of streets that were much steeper, or at least parts of them.

Maybe they are measuring the entire steepness from top to bottom, but there were stretches of some streets in San Fran where you felt like you could really lose your footing and tumble head over heels if you weren't careful. Some of the streets had railings and steps installed to help you get down safely.

Going up was hard, but not as treacherous as going down.

Anghiari, Italy? When I was traveling in northern Italy, several of the towns had very steep streets. Those and the bells that announced the hour and half hour were two of my most beloved memories of this region...those and, of course, the art of Piero della Francesca...

The art in Italy was just breathtaking. I minored in Art History in college and there was nothing like seeing it in reality, especially in Italy and Vienna. France as well, but I didn't study in France, so I was on my own there.

Unfortunately it appears to have since been swallowed up by the UCSF campus... but I remember it well. The sidewalk has stairs the whole block.

Good times.

12. I don't know, but this street might give the Wales street a bit of competition.

Had a good friend live at the top of the street. We got plenty of good exercise walking up that hill and in the winter it was an almost suicidal road to sled down. But then you had to drag your sled back up.
