... for almost forty years now. I drink Gekkeikan - it's good and more widely available than other brands.
Warmed sake is great in the winter. In the summer, I sometimes mix it with a bit of fruit juice and ice.

The guy in the commercial says in a deep voice Gekkeikan! Anyway, heated is amazing in the winter, but chilled in summer is equally yummy.

Been my summer drink so far.
I've been able to get 1.5 liter bottles of Sho Chiku Bai for 11 dollars at my liquor store
Put it on ice in a little short glass, et viola! a smooth cool drink -- a little like dry vermouth to me.
