Try inhaling steam and aetheric oils. Or eating spicy chinese food.

taking a deep breath and try to blow out of your nose gently while pinching your nostrils closed and keeping your mouth shut. If you hear a popping noise, you know you have succeeded.

Nasal decongestants for a few days at most.

Nasal OTC steroid inhalant for a few days.

If none of that works, you'll need to see an ENT or perhaps your GP (some will do so) for possible drainage.

I hold my nose and either blow out (gently!) or even inhale (again, gently — not responsible for eardrum annihilation) to regain that unblocked, clear feeling. Vigorous, repeated opening of the jaw can also be effective, but you will look like an idiot doing this.

Sounds like quiet little, 'zup, zup..' inside your head or ears every so often? That's blocked Eustachian tubes and not much can be done.

in your ear canal. Ear wax candles are a great alternative to remove excess wax. You can find them at alternative health stores, but since the process involves lighting one end of the candle, you have to be careful when you do it. Otherwise, it's safe, painless and works great.
