Most rotties are big ol' teddy bears if you've ever been around them. They're big and don't know their strength, but were originally bred to be nannies to children, I think I heard on Breed All About It on the Animal Planet.

I have had 2 of them. They were the sweetest dogs you would ever want to meet. One Rottie loved all other dogs and cats, but the other one hated cats.
