Why does my internet spell check not recognize "Notre" as in "Notre Dame" as a word?

Whenever I type it, I get a red squiggly line under it.

Name of a famous monument. Famous novel. Famous university.

I don't get that at all.

3. If you right-click on a squiggly word, you can add it to your spell check dictionary

5. Because "Notre" is not an English word.

It's French. But you already know that it's the one you want when you have "Dame" after it. So don't sweat the small stuff.
