You cannot see them at all! They vanish as though they'd never been here.

I've used it from time to time, and it can really save your sanity.

3. I believe that they can, as you can theirs as weell. You just can't see their responses to you.

In fact, entire subthreads disappear if the "ignored" poster has weighed in.

9. As a side issue...

Someone whom I have on 'ignore' routinely posts highly popular original material, which are unfortunately visible to me as 'trending now' or 'greatest threads.'

I ignore them to my utmost ability.

I tend to put a lot of people on Ignore - the same idiots I would not put up with in real life, I don't have to put up with them here either; no indeed

12. Ignore is a wonderful thing.

So are trash thread and trash key words. I admit there are times when I get on my own nerves, so being able to ignore myself would be something that I would entertain.
