I know so many friends whove had or who have Lyme. The second one I dont know anyone. And I worry because he has probably had it for a while. Have noticed some cognitive issues in the last year or so. Hoping there is no lasting damage.

(9,878 posts)It reacted nicely to the antibiotic and went away. It takes a little while, but the medicine does work. My main symptoms were a splitting headache and body aches that kept me from sleeping. I only had two very short neuro épisodes plus some word finding problems. They went away in due course as well.
