Listened to this 35-year-old song recently for the first time in a long while. Still holds up beautifully, and the lyrics, unfortunately, are still very relevant. A truly great band.

I've never seen them, hope I get the chance some day. A friend of mine who lives in LA says Jon and Exene still play together there pretty regularly.

And it definitely was better before they voted for what’s-his-name.

I also loved when they recorded with Dave Alvin as the Knitters. What a fun band.
