Attention All Fine DUers: Summer Season Photography Contest Opened Last Sunday And We Need YOU
It has been a week since we opened the contest in Photography and we have had some mighty fine entrants... HOWEVER I know for a fine fact that all of you have been out and about recording your own unique summers and I command you (look at me pretending to be the Queen 
) to share your favourite picci of the summer season for the competition. I am sharing the link where you can post. I say there and I will repeat here - if you do not get the rules or have problems sizing and posting contact me and I will walk you through it.
I am really keen that we try and open up the picture competitions - they are about joy in our surroundings, not about expertise in photography. They are about showing your own fabulous take on who and where you are and how you interpret that. Please go have a look at what has been submitted already and you will see what I mean.
Contest closes in a week, so please get posting your best and brightest interpretations of the summer season. Please notice I did not command again

That I've submitted a photo that I've taken with my cheap 3 year old android that my cat has knocked off the dresser multiple times.
You should give us a chance to admire your photos, although there's absolutely no pressure. 
Kick like a kick from me in arse depends on it! 
I had a difficult time deciding which of my two photos to submit, so I flipped a coin to make the final decision.
And happy to do so.

I love these! Do most people take professional pictures or can you submit pics from your cell phone?

I just got home from taking about a hundred photos at a local park. This is my second time entering a photo contest here. I hope to see a submission from you soon!

Yes, I would love to see you throw your hat in the ring. I think the hardest decision is choosing one winner in each thread. The decision is difficult because everyone does a superb job. You're welcome, SM.
