Samuel BARBER, Adagio for Strings. Vietnam movie Platoon.

I've purposely stayed away from war movies, not for "heroic" reserve reasons, just don't want them.

Today, Platoon was in the last 15 minutes on Roku, so I looked. While the atrocities were depicted, the music was Adagio for Strings, by Samuel BARBER. The first vid is the "original" version. It was even more tugging in the movie version.

Movie: I say, Charlie SHEEN, you p.o.s., there's something good about you.
