Dogs Love Their Mom So Much They Won't Let Her Go To Bathroom Alone

"When mom going to the bathroom is the most beautiful thing you ever saw" 😂

BY CAITLIN JILL ANDERS

Riley, Libby, Cali, Murphy and Sophie are all completely different, but have one very important thing in common: They’re absolutely obsessed with their mom.

Wherever Abby Rose Avery goes, her dogs are right there at her feet, getting in the way and making sure she’s safe — even when she goes places where she’d rather be alone.

“They follow me to the bathroom/shower/bath almost constantly,” Avery told The Dodo.

The group’s favorite activity is staring at their mom because they love her so much, and she loves them all just as much right back.

"When mom going to the bathroom is the most beautiful thing you ever saw," Avery said.

With so many dogs, Avery and her crew get a lot of looks when they’re out together in public, but that doesn’t stop her from taking them all out whenever she pleases. Recently, the gang was on a hike when Avery needed to use the restroom. This time, she had to drag all five dogs into the stall with her — and they were more than happy to join her, as usual.

“They were very well-behaved as they usually are,” Avery said. “I told them ‘in’ and they all laid down and stared at me lovingly.”

One of the crew’s favorite pastimes is watching Mom when she goes to the bathroom, and being in a public restroom didn’t change this one bit. Of course, everyone else in the restroom was a little confused — and very entertained.

“There was a barbecue going on at the park and many people stared, pointed and giggled,” Avery said. “A woman next to me in the stall said, ‘That’s a lot of feet!’”

Once they were done, Avery paraded her crew back through the bathroom, much to the delight of everyone around her. To them, it was such a funny sight, but to the dogs, it was just another day. Making sure mom's safe — wherever she goes — is their favorite job.

Had to follow you to the john and of course when you closed the door, he immediately started meowing and wanted out...silly cat.

I kind of love it when my sibling's dogs follow me into the bathroom or especially when they poke their heads into the shower just to make sure I am ok. Some people don't like dogs because they are clingy, but that is exactly what I love about them. If a person was that way, it would drive me crazy, but I don't mind it with dogs.
