First of all, I have a great number of friends in Iceland. Good people, tremendous people. Fantastic. Iceland is an island. Did you know that? Not many people know that, but it is true. No no, it's true. The fake news media, or the lame stream media as many people call it, won't tell you that. But Iceland is an island because it is surrounded by tremendous water...very large amounts of water.
Back in the time before the vikings invaded Poland (by the way, Poland is a great country)...anyway, before the Minnesota Vikings invaded Poland in the 1300's, people used to pronounce the word "island" where they said the "s" letter, not like they pronounce it today. They don't include the "s" letter today when they say the beautiful word "island". So when they used to say it like for example when the Italians were crossing the pacific on a freight ship, they used to talk to each other, and when they said the word island, they pronounced it so it sounded like Iceland. So when the ship carrying the Italians passed the island of Iceland, they would say "Look at that island", only they pronounced it like Iceland. Well, the name stuck, and when the island of Iceland was sold to Manhattan, the real estate developers...I am a real estate developer...I do that very well by the way thank you very much...when the Chicago Bears played the Minnesota Vikings at the Manhattan Super Bowl...the real estate developers decided to call the island of Iceland...they decided to call it Iceland, because that is how they said the word island. Remember that TV show Gilligan's Iceland? That's right! That really happened and it was called that.
