Yeah! Northern CO mountains due to get their first snow of the season...

I am OVER the hot hot hot spells we've had this summer--which gives me untold sympathy for those hurricane victims-- although the heat and humidity are clearly the least of their problems.

Here's to a milder winter, but a true winter nonetheless and a prolonged, beautiful, temperate Fall or "Indian Summer."

compared to previous 3 summers I have been living here. It was already cooler yesterday, enough for me to mow the lawn at 11 am.
