The "Walking Dead" people have got to find a way to pay Lauren Cohan what she wants. Discuss.

I've been re-watching the entire series on Netflix. Previously, I had seen the first couple of seasons and bits and pieces of others. I've now seen 'em all.

Aside from being one of the few original characters since season 2, she watched her sister, father, and husband die, and on a consistent twist on how many of the other characters have died, it was not at the hands of walkers. She kept her sanity and kept kicking ass, although not always in agreement with her fellow survivors. You can also add "no closure with Negan" to the list.

She's pretty darned central in a series where Daryl assumes the role of "Male lead with seniority." I'm sure Daryl will be fascinating in season 10, but since the creators "have Maggie stories" ready should she return, I'm hoping she will.

This will be cool...the first time since season 2 that I'm set up to view new episodes as they air, and know the context of every episode that preceded them.

1. I could live without her

I haven’t really liked her character turn in recent seasons. And I really like all the new characters. Absolutely adore the deaf girl and the musician.

The accent bothers me, but I can live with that.

I think they just write her stupid.
