My grandmother used to get filet mignon and in the summer, we'd all cook our own little cubes of steak in the fondue pot. She had toppings like garlic butter and sauces, sour cream, chives, etc., and serve it with vegetables fresh out of her garden and rolls. YUM. (And we'd often have homemade frozen peach mousse for dessert). Those were the days.
