Art Against The Arms Fair

Art was one of the many creative modes of actions against the world's largest arms fair, DSEI in London.

In addition to attempts to block access to the fair, the weapon pushers was also being outed through art exhibitions such as ArtTheArmsfair and similar creative criticism:

A fake navy poster was credibly signed as RoyalNavy.org.uk, which of course leads to a similar fake website definitely worth a visit. It was so compelling that the DSEI was lured to broadcast the forgery on Twitter:

"Become a suicide bomber" was the alluring headline of this well-executed fake advertising campaign against the British Navy's nuclear armed submarines. The logic is carved in the text: firing submarine missiles means safe death, both for the crew itself and for millions of people.
