Great way to start the day. I'm losing it!

Went into the kitchen to put on a pot of coffee.
Went back into bedroom. Few minutes later back into kitchen.

FORGOT TO PUT THE FREAKING COFFEE POT ON THE COFFEE MAKER!!!!!

Coffee all over the counter top and running down the front of the cabinets to the floor.

Coffee maker does have a shut off so when you remove the pot while its still brewing it's supposed to stop pouring coffee into the pot. But evidently it doesn't stop the fresh water from continuing to fill up the filter bowl which was what was overflowing coffee grounds included.

So far, the rest of the day no calamities.
