Emmy Awards last night.

Anyone have links to the acceptance speeches?

I knew Jodie Comer would win for Killing Eve. Dynamic actress.

So, so happy that Julia Garner won for her role in Ozark. Very vulnerable but lethal character.

Always happy for Jason Bateman and Bill Hader.

And, now we all have to learn more about Flea Bag.

I do want to find the time to get into Fleabag. Heard nothing but good about it.

And yep, Jason Bateman and Bill Hader will always get love from me.

3. Well, here's the flip side. I've tried twice to get into Fleabag and hated it. Three episodes and

I gave up. To each his own, though. The actress wasn't the problem. She seems watchable enough.

I;ve heard the creator (author? Someone anyway..) interviewed on NPR and it sounded pretty interesting.

At least Prime is painless! lol (well, the pain is spread out over all the things you love so you can try something and not like it every now and again).

even mildly funny in the show (and I managed through three episodes, even though I'd initially quit midway through the first). Whatever... At least it was included on Amazon Prime so I didn't pay additional for it.

Last time to see the GOT cast together though.

As for Killing Eve, all the hype has always been about Sandra Oh, but I always thought Comer stole the show.

BTW, Fox bleeped out all the political statements. Cowards.

the bad guys are always more interesting than the good guys, and Eve is as bad as it gets.

Her totally amoral and skilled killing at the drop of the hat is fascinating, but the show breaks down for me when Oh's character seems to admire her abilities and passes on chances to stop her.

8. I know nothing about Fleabag except Olivia COLMAN, from The Favourite & Graham NORTON

I might never go out of my way to look at Fleabag, blaming my beloved DUers posting here about it, but will someday find Olivia in something elegant/witty/piercing again. (She's playing Liz II in The Crown now, don't have premiums, haven't seen the series - why do I Post/!1)
