BY ANDREA POWELL
On your wedding day you want to be surrounded by the people you love. A Brooklyn man could not imagine his special day without his best friend at his side, so he made his cat the best man.
Aaron Benitez adopted his beloved cat, Prince Michael, and the two have been best pals ever since. They do everything together and have over 2 million followers on their YouTube channel, which features hilarious videos of the grey feline and his dad.
Michael played a big role in finding the perfect partner for Benitez. She needed to love cats, of course, and be approved by Michael. Michelle passed the test.
Benitez told PEOPLE, When we looked for venues, allowing cats was the main priority. When we picked a caterer, we made sure they could make salmon (Michaels fave). And when we booked a DJ, we made sure he wouldnt play Who Let the Dogs Out.
The role of best man comes with a few responsibilities, which Michael exceeded. On the day of the wedding the adorable feline was dressed in a custom made suit and posed for multiple photos. He entertained guests and strutted down the aisle.
Michael was calm and relaxed since he is used to the limelight. Entertaining people is something that just comes natural to the feline. Benitez does not recommend having your pet at the wedding unless they are super chill like Michael.
All the guests enjoyed the friendly feline and were thrilled to interact with him at the wedding. The pair continues to entertain the world with their creative videos that prove cats can be mans best friend as well.

(25,183 posts)where the couple made their Golden Retriever their ring bearer. They taught the dog how to pick up a basket containing their rings, and march down an aisle to deliver them to the couple. It was a lovely ceremony, and a great reception thereafter.
I got to meet Bill Gates' sister, who was a close friend of the bride. Good times!
