(1,603 posts)I was really happy to see him win the Emmy for writing this masterpiece. I've been a longtime listener of his fantastic screenwriting podcast called Scriptnotes. When he accepted the award it was like watching an old friend succeed! What makes it more amazing is that he was mostly known as a comedy writer before Chernobyl -- he wrote the two Hangover sequels and Identity Thief (with Melissa McCarthy.)
Another fun fact about him -- he was Ted Cruz's roommate as a Freshman at Princeton, and he really, really hates Ted!
