(10,036 posts)Though I saw them in concert twice back in their hey day. But I was listening to Another One Bites The Dust on the radio the other day and realized Freddie was really an incredible vocalist.

(34,060 posts)I was a fan, on the outside. The time was me going to nursing school and working nights and too busy to do much else but over the years I really have appreciated that band and what they did, it was so wonderful.
My musician brother died of AIDS about 17 years ago so I always get teared up with these stories. Freddy was a monster singer and musician. His ideas were movements and his talent was above most others.
I am appreciating from another decade and feel so sad I was not more interested, or able to be, when he was living.

Cant be scared of everything, got to get your Freddie on sometimes.
I also lost my brother in law, plus 5 friends to AIDS.
