11. Did you know that airplane RARELY have major structural failure...rarely...rarely....

I've always wondered about the impact of declining profits airlines have been seeing on their maintenance procedures. I mean I KNOW they are supposed to do inspections and look at vital components nut are they taking shortcuts due to costs?

Look out at the wing, see how much its moving up and down? The main spar can't last forever, can it? All that flex has to weaken the metal over time til it eventually fails. If you think THAT is bad it is a good thing you can't see the elevators in the back, that are probably dancing around like nobodies bidness.

I wonder if anyone on the plane has TB or some other god awful contagious disease? You are all sharing the air in there.....

I wonder if all the air traffic controllers had a good nights sleep and are sober.......
